not too long ago…

My business felt soulless—some would call it.

A business I had started because I was sick of the state of the world—because I wanted to deeply serve humanity and shift something for generations to come—had turned into a never-ending to-do list. A task after another. And yet, my system kept resisting growth.

I was completely drained.

I had packed my entire life into two suitcases and moved to Canada from Iran after quitting my high-paying, stable design job and living through a massive women-led movement. My business was making $0. I was in a country that felt unfamiliar in every way.

So I did what most entrepreneurs do—I invested in a high-ticket business mastermind. I wanted to learn the “proven strategies” to grow my business.

And while I learned a LOT from that mentorship, I felt…frustrated.

My business had turned into a sales engine that wasn’t even working.
